Dance for PD® was started 18 years ago as a collaboration between Mark Morris Dance Group in New York and the Brooklyn Parkinson Group. It is now taught in over 120 communities worldwide in 23 countries. Dance for PD® classes allow people with Parkinson’s to experience the joys and benefits of dance while creatively addressing symptom-specific concerns related to balance, cognition, motor skill, depression and physical confidence.
